I'm making an RPG engine, my main goal is to gain experience with Role Playing Games design and implementation...my secondary goalis is to make the engine good enough to be used as the foundation of "complete" games.

Last December I completed the first version of the engine (C++/Text only) and right now I'm planning the second iteration of the system.

haXe is a multiplatform language.

I decided to make this second iteration of the system in haxe, although it may appear as a quick decision I really thought a lot about it, maybe sometime I'll post about it...maybe

Programming Role Playing Games

Think before buying this book!

I also decided to make a formal analysis and design of the engine...this was rather a painful decision...first I was doing the second iteration based on a book until I stumbled upon some REALLY bad designed classes...I decided to learn the most I could from the book and then making a formal analysis and design for the engine.

So right now I'm doing both the analysis of the engine and also learning Haxe...that's the state of the vladimirsan republic right now...
